It’s been a busy time for the Alumni program with the year 12 end of year celebrations. We had recent Alumni Vedaant Patel, Class of 2023 come back to speak to our students at the Year 12 Assembly on 24th October about life after school and tips on how to set up a LinkedIn page after school for employment and networking opportunities. 

At our Year 12 Valedictory we were lucky to have Alumni Jason Martinez-Foley Class of 2021, speak about his journey. Jason’s story was so powerful and inspiring, and we are excited to be welcoming him back to WCC as a staff member in 2025 as he completes his Education Degree. 

On Friday 1st November, we hosted an Alumni session for our STEM students with Alumni John West Class of 1979 (Werribee Tech days!!) sharing his experience in STEM. John works at BAE Systems as a Support Solution Architect, designing support systems for defence industry products. He is currently designing the support system for next generation Navy frigate. Thanks to Riady Perdana, Connie Faranda and the STEM teachers for helping make this session happen.
