Grade 2/3/4

In Maths, we have been learning about addition and subtraction fact families and extending these to include bigger numbers. 

In English, we started a new Phonics program in Literacy called UFLI (University of Florida Literacy Institute). The students are finding it very engaging as it is interactive, fast-paced and involves a variety of different activities.  

In inquiry, we looked at physical activity and made a list of physical activities for every letter of the alphabet - we even came up with one for "Z"! If you haven't heard of Zorb football, check it out - it looks like heaps of fun. 

But, perhaps the highlight of our fortnight was the Matilda mini-play that the students so beautifully and professionally performed for our second assembly of the year. So proud!!!
