A trip to the coast

During Week 6, Year 8 Humanities students took part in a fieldwork excursion to Rockingham. The trip provided an opportunity for students to apply their classroom learning about coastal landscapes in real-world settings at Mersey Point and Point Peron.

They examined coastal formations, completed field sketches, investigated coastal processes, and gathered weather data. Over the three days, students engaged in activities that explored both natural and human impacts on the coastline.

Thank you to all the staff who supported the excursion throughout the week. The students gained valuable insights and had a positive learning experience.
