Sporting Success and Exciting Learning Ahead

We are very proud of our SLC students who represented St. Joseph’s at the Regional Netball competition in Wangaratta. It was a fantastic day, with students demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, teamwork and determination. Well done to all involved on a great effort!

Next Friday, the SLC will host the Tri-Winter Games, where students will participate in a variety of sports including netball, football, soccer and teeball. We look forward to welcoming Cobram Primary School, from 1:30pm.

In the classroom, our Year 6 students have recently completed their Angles unit and will spend the remainder of the term exploring key mathematics concepts including Decimals, Measurement, Location and Transformation.

To consolidate their Sustainability unit, our Year 5 students, with the help of Tam, will be making beeswax wraps. This hands-on activity will support their understanding of sustainable practices and reducing waste, while providing a practical alternative to single-use plastics.
