Middle Learning Community

Thank you to all the parents and carers who took the time to attend the 3-way chats. The partnership in helping your child succeed at school is very much appreciated.

Just a friendly reminder, that no toys or squishies are to be brought to school. Thank you for your support with this.

Year 3

Thank you to all the parents and children who attended our Reconciliation meeting a few weeks ago. It has been wonderful seeing the children take the time to reflect and respond through their reconciliation books. We are looking forward to helping your child through this important part of their faith journey.

In Literacy, we have finished reading the non-fiction picture story book Finding our Heart: A story about the Uluru Statement of the Heart for Young Australians. The students have been extremely engaged in learning more about First Nations Culture and important parts of our country's history. We are now starting our new text, The Iron Man.

In Maths, we have been focusing on Addition and Subtraction strategies and next will begin looking at Multiplication and Division again.

Year 4

In Math's, students have been learning about fractions and identifying equivalent fractions for halves, quarters and eighths, thirds, sixths and twelfths and fifths and tenths
