This week (12 May) is  International Nurses Day!  12th May is the chosen day in honor of Florence Nightengale's birthday and the contributions to nurses worldwide. We celebrate all that our Nurses do for our society. For all the nurses within our community - we say thank you!! 

 Prayer for Nurses

We Pray for Nurses, that this week's International Nurses Day will highlight the indispensable role they play in caring for others, and thay may feel appreciated and safe as they care for patients with gentle hands and loving hearts.

Kids View Conference – Social Justice Excursion

Students from Mini Vinnies at SJV attended the Kids View Conference at St Cecilia's Primary School today as part of a Social Justice excursion. Throughout the day, students participated in a range of activities designed to build empathy and develop a deeper understanding of poverty and the challenges faced by many children around the world.

A powerful part of the experience was listening to students from the Philippines share their personal stories and experiences. Their stories highlighted how education can help keep children safe and provide opportunities for a brighter future.

The conference encouraged students to reflect on the importance of compassion, gratitude and social justice, while inspiring them to think about ways they can make a positive difference in the lives of others.

The Parish Confirmation Information session was held yesterday for candidates and parents. Thanks to those who attended.

You must attend one of the information sessions where an enrolment form will be given and other dates advised.
