Snapshots from Springvale
It has been another busy and exciting few weeks at the Springvale Campus!
Last Friday, our FLC students welcomed their mums, grandmothers, aunties and special friends to our Mother’s Day Morning. Families enjoyed a range of fun classroom activities together, followed by a lovely morning tea. It was wonderful to see so many families attending and sharing these special moments with our students. Thank you to our FLC team who organised this wonderful event and to the families who joined us.
Our annual Mother’s Day Stall was also a great success, with students excited to choose thoughtful gifts for the important people in their lives. We hope all of our mums, grandmothers and special friends enjoyed a relaxing and happy Mother’s Day on Sunday.
On Monday, students across all year levels participated in our Whole School Cross Country event. Our Foundation to Year 2 students completed their races on the school oval, while students in Years 3–6 walked to Warner Reserve to join Heights Campus students in a fun and friendly competition together. The event was filled with excitement, house spirit and encouragement, with students proudly cheering on their teammates and giving their best effort throughout the day. It was wonderful to see so many parents and carers attending to support our students, making the Cross Country a fantastic whole school community event. We are incredibly proud of the resilience, sportsmanship and enthusiasm shown by all students who participated. A big thank you goes to Mr Kullar and Mr Roberts for their organisation and coordination of this special event, which is quickly becoming a treasured annual tradition at Springvale Rise.
