Cross Country a Roaring Success

On Monday, our F-2's came together on their own campus and then all our MLC and SLC students came together at Warner Reserve for three fantastic Cross Country events filled with energy, determination and school spirit. Our students challenged themselves across the courses, showing resilience, perseverance and encouragement towards one another every step of the way. It was wonderful to see such enthusiastic participation from all year levels, with students proudly representing their houses and celebrating both personal achievements and teamwork.

A huge thank-you to Mr Roberts and Mr Kullar for pulling everything together and to all our staff for helping out on the day.  I love the fact that our Cross Country was so inclusive - and that it gave the chance for some of our students to shine in a space that is "just right" for them. Thanks always to the family members who came along to add to the excitement.  And the weather was perfect! What more could we ask for?

Congratulations to the students who proudly represented our school at the District Cross Country on Wednesday. All students demonstrated outstanding effort, determination, and sportsmanship, and they should be incredibly proud of their achievements. A special congratulations also goes to the four students who were successful in progressing through to the next stage — Division Cross Country. We wish them the very best as they continue to represent our school.

Education Support Personnel (ESP) Day

Our school community was delighted to celebrate Education Support Personnel (ESP) Day on Friday 15 May, acknowledging the outstanding contribution of our Education Support staff across both campuses.

Throughout the week, students and staff reflected on the many ways our ES team positively supports learning, wellbeing, inclusion, and the daily operations of our school. From our Administration Team and Inclusion Staff to our Teacher Aides and Multicultural Education Assistants (MEAs), each member of the team plays an essential role in helping our students to thrive.

To celebrate the occasion, special morning teas and assemblies were held across both campuses to acknowledge and thank our ES staff for their ongoing dedication and support. Students shared heartfelt cards and messages of appreciation, which were presented alongside personalised caricatures to recognise the meaningful contribution these staff members make to our school community each and every day.

We are incredibly grateful for the compassion, commitment, and professionalism our Education Support staff bring to our school community. Their work often happens quietly behind the scenes, yet its impact is felt by students, families, and staff every single day.

Keep smiling,
