Year 5 News

Year 5 has made a wonderful start to Term 4. As a class, we continue to focus on our shared values of doing our best and always being respectful. Students have settled in beautifully with Mrs Sefton and Mrs Crawford joining the learning space, and we look forward to continuing to learn, grow and achieve together throughout the term.

We have also been revisiting our social story and expectations in preparation for the Senior Camp next week at Borambola, which everyone is looking forward to.

Religion: We have been exploring the meaning of Covenant and have worked together to create our own class covenant.

Science: Students are learning about natural and artificial sources of light, how light travels in a straight line, and how shadows are formed.

Mathematics: Our learning has focused on location and data investigation.

English: We continue to enjoy reading The Grandest Bookshop in the World while developing our writing skills by creating our own historical fiction narratives.

We are proud of the positive way Year 5 students have approached their learning and look forward to a fantastic Term 4 together!
