Acting Principal's Message

World Teachers’ Day
On Monday 5th October, we celebrated World Teachers’ Day by recognising the incredible educators who make our school such a special place to learn and grow. Our teachers are kind, caring, patient, knowledgeable, passionate, funny and sometimes just a little bit silly!
Behind every lesson are countless hours of planning, preparation, reflection and dedication. Our teachers encourage, challenge, inspire and celebrate our Joeys, helping every child feel known, valued and supported to achieve their very best. Continuing the wonderful legacy of the Sisters of Mercy, our teachers bring faith, compassion, service and a genuine care for others to life each day.
Buildings don’t make a school. People do.
To our exceptional teaching team, thank you for your hard work, expertise, commitment, patience and the many things you do that often go unseen.
Our teachers truly are the greatest in the world, and St. Joseph’s is extra wonderful because of them!
Foundation 2027 Transition
Our 2027 Foundation Transition Program is off to a wonderful start! With two Wednesday sessions already completed, it has been a joy to welcome our newest Joeys into our school community. Through play, colouring, singing songs, listening to stories and engaging in fun learning activities, our future Foundation students are already building friendships, developing confidence and becoming familiar with their new school environment. It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm and excitement as they embrace new experiences. We look forward to the remaining transition sessions as we prepare our newest Joeys for their exciting journey into Foundation in 2027!
Cobram Agricultural Show
The Cobram Agricultural Show is fast approaching, taking place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October, 2026. At St. Joseph's, we are proud to support this wonderful community event and celebrate the creativity, talents and achievements of our students.
