From the Principal

Congratulations to our Student Voice Council for organising the super fun Teacher-Student Swap Day. It was such a joy to see students stepping into the shoes of teachers, and teachers taking on the student role. There were lots of laughs and great moments had by all! It’s days like these that make our school community so special and our job so entertaining!

A huge thank you to all the dads, grandfathers, and father figures who joined us for our special Father’s Day assembly. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces celebrating together! We hope every dad/father figure loved the gift their child made by hand at school. It was made with lots of love and care, just for you!

A big shoutout to our amazing mass dance students who performed at the Victorian State School Spectacular at the John Cain Arena! Both the matinee and evening shows on Saturday were absolutely spectacular. It was a very long day for everyone involved, but one full of unforgettable memories and incredible performances. All the students were so excited backstage and it was lovely to see them shine on the big stage. I must say I was super impressed with their energy levels after two full days of rehearsals followed by the big performance day! See page 5 for full details.

Finally, a big thank you to all our staff, parents, and students for making Term 3 such a success. Even though it was a shorter term, we packed in so many fantastic programs, events, excursions, and incursions. Our focus on learning and wellbeing continues to shine, and it’s wonderful to see everyone embracing the many opportunities our school offers. I know we’re all ready for a break, so I hope the next two weeks give you a chance to relax, recharge, and spend quality time with your loved ones. Term 4 will be longer and busier, so don’t forget to mark important dates in your calendar early to help us all stay on track.

REMINDER: tomorrow is the last day of Term 3, and school finishes at 2:30pm. 

We’ll be back refreshed and ready to go on Monday, 6th October for Term 4.
