Welcome back to Term 2!

We’ve eased back into our learning routines and begun exploring our new novel Yirra and Her Deadly Dog, Demon. In writing, students are learning about topic sentences and how to expand their kernel sentences to add more detail.

In Mathematics, we’ve started our unit on fractions. Over the coming weeks, students will be learning about halves, quarters, fifths, and more.

In Humanities, we’ve been focusing on ANZAC Day, as it falls this Saturday. As part of our learning, we made delicious ANZAC biscuits during Wednesday’s lesson.
