District Cross Country
22 students from St Joseph the Worker competed at Keon Park District Cross Country meet on Wednesday 13th May 2026.
Weather: Cool, sunny day
Track Condition: Cement and gravel path, small hills.
We had a very successful meet, especially for those who put in the training for the last 3 months, and results are as follows:
U10 Girls – Siena 3rd, Emily 5th, Alexandra 15th, Eleanor 22nd, Evelyn DNF
U10 Boys – Pat 10th, Christian 20th, Maverick 22nd, Jaxson 23rd, Louis 31st
U11 Girls – Adele 2nd
U11 Boys – Salvador 3rd, Archie 6th, Oliver 10th, Christian 11th, Josh 14th
U12 Girls – Alexia 1st, Sierra 3rd, Emma 4th, Lena 6th
U12 Boys – Matthew 1st, Isaac 3rd
The St Joseph the Worker Team won the Runner Up pennant on the day, coming second behind Reservoir PS for points accumulated for all of the schools! 😊
Congratulations to all 22 of our athletes, you ran very well on the day and gave your best efforts in your race, as well as promoted wonderful sportsmanship to your team and all others in the venue – we are all very proud of you!
Further congratulations to Alexia, Matthew, Adele, Siena, Salvador, Sierra, Isaac. Emma, Emily, Archie, Lena, Christian, Oliver and Pat who have made it through to the Division Cross Country meet at Bundoora Park early next month. We wish you all the best for your next race and continuing your training leading up to the race!
