SLA

Confirmation Reflection Day
In Religious Education this term, we have been learning about the Sacraments and more specifically about the Sacrament of Confirmation. As a part of this learning, the SLA students had the opportunity to research about Saints, to participate in mass and to learn more about Reconciliation and the significance of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The Confirmation Candidates also had the opportunity to engage more deeply in the learning about Confirmation and the Holy Spirit and in partaking in the Sacrament of Reconciliation in preparation for Confirmation Mass on the 22nd of May.
Best wishes to all the candidates and here are some photos from our Confirmation Reflection Day.
Inter School Sports
On Friday the 1st of May, the year 5/6 students attended their first interschool sports day for 2026 playing against Thomastown primary school. We had a day of fine weather and lots of anticipation. Our football team had great success with their game winning 117 to 0. Even though they did lose, the soccer team played well, and the score really did not reflect their efforts. Netball was lucky enough to be able to send 2 teams of netballers to Thomastown. The students had a lot of fun both playing and cheering each other on. Both teams played with spirit; Team A winning by 4 goals and Team B drawing with Thomastown. Excellent sportsmanship was shown by St Joseph the Worker students. Well done!
