Faith Learning in Years 3 and 4

This term, our Year 3 and Year 4 students have been busy growing in their understanding of their faith through learning about important sacraments.

Year 3 students have been preparing to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. They have been learning about what reconciliation means, with a strong focus on making good choices and understanding forgiveness. Through the use of thinking routines, students have worked together to share their ideas and reflect on their learning in a supportive and collaborative way.

As part of their preparation, students have explored what it means to make things right in their relationship with God. They have also been learning the Act of Contrition prayer, helping them feel more confident and prepared for the sacrament.

Meanwhile, Year 4 students have been learning all about the Eucharist. They have been exploring the different parts of the Mass and developing an understanding of what happens during this special celebration.

It has been wonderful to see students in both year levels showing enthusiasm and thoughtfulness as they continue their faith journey.
