Ranges TEC 

Last week, Year 10 students from Ranges TEC proudly delivered a set of wonderful picnic tables they had crafted as part of their Building and Construction taster course. It was especially rewarding for the students to visit MECS and see their finished tables in place, bringing a fantastic addition to the school grounds. The achievement was celebrated with a BBQ and the chance for Ranges students to test out the tables themselves!

Our annual Open Day took place on an unseasonably balmy Saturday afternoon earlier this month. Current students did a wonderful job guiding prospective students and their families on tours of the school, where teachers spoke about the different pathways available to Year 10, 11 and 12 students. Visitors also enjoyed making pizzas in the kitchen, which were cooked fresh and were ready to enjoy on their return from tours.
