Student Dress Code

Thank you to the families who contributed feedback during the review process. The updated Student Dress Code reflects our commitment to maintaining high standards while allowing students some additional flexibility.

Key changes include:

  • Students may now wear the soft-shell jacket in class (to be removed during practical technology subjects when requested for safety reasons).

  • One nose piercing is permitted, restricted to a clear or stud retainer. Sleepers and other facial piercings remain not permitted. *NB: Students considering a nose piercing are encouraged to have it done during the summer holiday period to allow sufficient healing time, so that a clear or stud retainer can be worn upon return to school in line with these dress code guidelines.

  • Facial hair is allowed, provided it is neatly groomed and well-trimmed.

  • Tattoos must be covered at all times, using appropriate uniform items, tape, make-up, or a sleeve in a natural skin tone.

Please note: we are working with our uniform supplier, Dobsons, regarding specific clothing items, but this does not affect the dress code itself.

Fundraising Policy

We are proud of the efforts of our SRC and student leaders in fundraising throughout the year. The new Fundraising Policy, effective from 2026, provides clear guidelines for both students and staff. It outlines how fundraising can continue to support school initiatives while ensuring charitable fundraising is appropriately limited and managed.

We appreciate your support in helping us implement these changes, which are designed to strengthen our school community and provide clarity for students and families.
