Year 9 High Tea

Last Friday the library had the privilege to host High tea for the residents of Chirnside Views and Warrandyte Gardens as part of the Year 9 Community Service Project. Also in attendance at this fantastic cross-generational event were some students from Mullum Mullum Primary and our local member Nick McGowan, a representative from the Department of Education.

The Food Studies students treated everyone to some amazing food and some incredible musical numbers by some very talented students as well as an impromptu number by one of the residents. A great time was had by all. Well done everyone.

Holiday borrowing

The library is now open for unlimited borrowing over the Christmas break. There are some great new books available as well as some old favourites, feel free to come and borrow before school finishes. 

Don’t forget too, we have our ePlatform with a massive range of eBooks and audiobooks, very handy for those time you don’t want the added inconvenience of a heavy book.

Students are also reminded to return any overdue books before they borrow for the holidays.
