Casino Beef Week

A few weeks ago students from Kempsey High School travelled to Casino, NSW to compete in the ICMJ competition.  The Australian Intercollegiate Meat Judging Association (ICMJ) Inc is a not-for-profit association with the objective of injecting intelligent, trained and enthusiastic graduates into industry to increase future capacity and competitiveness. The ICMJ competition is held during Beef Week, an annual celebration of the Australian Beef industry, community and the rural way of life.

Students performed very well, with Kempsey High being awarded champion team for all categories. Lylah W scored overall champion, with Tilly W placing third, Riley M placing fifth and Malise K eighth. Well done to all participants.
