Clontarf Leadership Camp

Week 3 Term 2, a group of our Yr 11 and 12 boys had the fantastic opportunity to attend the MNC Clontarf Foundation Employment Forum, held at Cex Club Coffs Harbour. This forum was more than just a day out—it was a great experience that brought our students face-to-face with Foundation partners, mentors, and real-life opportunities beyond school. The forum gave our boys a chance to engage directly with Clontarf partners, including local employers and industry representatives, who shared valuable insights into various career pathways. 

A highlight of the event was hearing from Clontarf graduates who have successfully made the transition from school into the workforce. Their honest stories about challenges, perseverance, and success gave our students a glimpse into what’s possible when they stay committed and focused. 

The trip wasn’t all business—we stayed at the Big 4 Holiday Park in Sawtell, which provided a great space to relax and unwind after a busy day. To keep the spirits high, we went ten pin bowling,  headed to the movies for some downtime, enjoyed a bit of shopping, and wrapped it all up with a rainy morning at the driving range, where the boys took on the challenge of closet to the pin and longest drive. We had plenty of laughs and saw some surprising talent! 

 Experiences like these are a huge part of what Clontarf is all about—connecting, learning, and growing together.
