A message from the principal

Dear KHS Families,
As we end Week 9 of Term 2, I would like to share some important updates regarding two key initiatives at our school: the Stymie Reporting Program and the importance of wearing the correct winter uniform.
Stymie
First, I want to highlight the importance of Stymie within our school community. This innovative program empowers students to report bullying and harmful behaviours anonymously for both themselves and their mates, ensuring a safer environment for everyone. Stymie provides a platform for students to express their concerns without fear of retaliation, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and responsibility.
Since the program's relaunch in Term 1, we have seen a positive response from students. Many have actively engaged with the platform, and I encourage all families to discuss this initiative with their children. It is essential that our students understand the importance of speaking up and looking out for one another. Together, we can cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and secure.
If you have any questions about the Stymie Reporting Program or how you can support your child in using it, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Winter Uniform Compliance
As the cooler months settle in, I would like to remind families about the importance of wearing the correct winter uniform. Adhering to our uniform policy not only promotes school spirit but also fosters a sense of belonging & safety among our students.
We understand that some families may face challenges in acquiring the correct uniform, and we are here to support you. If you are experiencing difficulties, please reach out to the school office, and we will assist you.
