Year 10 Outdoor Ed Camp

As a final test of their mountain biking skills, the Year 10 Outdoor Ed students made their way to Dwellingup to tackle the infamous Murray Valley Trails. We rode the Munda Biddi Trail to our picturesque campsite at Baden Powell before setting up camp.

We then set off for the more technical trails which challenged and thrilled everyone! All students tackled the trails with fervour and displayed great skill and enjoyment.

Back at camp, students had the opportunity to demonstrate their teamwork with setting up the community camp, sheltering skills and camp cooking skills, with some delicious feeds being whipped up to feast on, followed by some evening activities!

The next day, we explored more trails in town before riding the Dwellingup technical skills pump track.

Special thanks to Mazza Mum, Jen Wardle and their family business, Rock ‘N’ Roll Mountain Biking for supplying specialised bike trailers which allowed us to rack and unload with ease.

Thank you to Mr Newman for all your organisation and Mr Migro, Mr Connolly–Brown and Mr Schultz for their support on the camp: what a crew!
