Is Spring Sprung? ⛈️

The Garden is on the way…………..with a huge amount of help from Mr Dave Vallis in preparing the land and supply of all the industrial machinery needed; Mr Michael Scarfone, Mr Angelo Vallis, Mr Ray Carr from D & T as well as the Industry & Enterprise students, in the installation of the screens and our maintenance staff in assisting wherever needed………… also Mrs Lauren Johnson for making morning tea (scones and cream!) at 5:00am on the day………………the Corten Screens are up! 

Wicking Beds are also installed, with reticulation being connected this week and soils/planting to begin as soon as possible……………. the shade cloths are ready to go for 365 day growth and with a water reservoir at the base of each bed, the beds will only need topping up once a week.  Wicking barrels will also be filled with herbs and medicinal plants, again only needing minimal watering.
