Year 3 Incursion

All Bbout the Heart, By Isabel V 3DC

On August the 13th Remi read us an AMAZING book he made about the heart. I learnt a lot of things. Here are some facts about the heart: There are four parts of your heart. Together they renew the old blood and pump the new blood around your body. The limbs protect your heart and If you break one you experience a terrible pain but the others keep your heart protected.

After Remi finished the book he gave us worksheets where we had to cut and fold a picture of the heart (It was very hard!). While we were doing them, he slowly called people Into the other classroom to hear each other's hearts. It was pretty cool.

He also told us how he made the book. He thought of the words in about a week, he chose the illustrator in a month and the illustrations were decided in a whole year!
