Lent, Easter and the Gift of Gratitude
As we journey through Lent and approach the joy of Easter, we are invited into a sacred rhythm of reflection, renewal and gratitude. Lent calls us to pause.
In a world that often moves quickly and noisily, these forty days gently encourage us to look inward, to notice where we may need growth, healing or reconnection. Through prayer, service and acts of generosity, we are reminded that transformation does not happen instantly; it unfolds slowly, often in quiet and unseen ways. Easter then meets us with hope. It is the celebration of new life, the reminder that light follows darkness and that love has the final word.
Within our school community, this season invites us to reflect on gratitude. Gratitude for the small, everyday moments, a kind word, a shared laugh, a helping hand. Gratitude for the growth we witness in our students. Gratitude for the dedication of our staff and the trust of our families. And above all, gratitude for a faith that anchors us in hope.
May this Lenten and Easter season renew our hearts and strengthen our commitment to being a community marked by compassion, courage and joy. May we continue to walk beside one another with generosity and grace, carrying the light of Easter into our classrooms, our homes and our wider world.
