Principal's Message

As we near the end of the year, there’s an inspiring energy across the school. Teachers are dedicated to completing their final content, empowering our students with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful transition into the Headstart program. This time reflects our values of achievement and empowerment, with staff and students working collaboratively to ensure that everyone finishes the year strong.

Our Year 12 students are in the midst of their exams, exemplifying perseverance and determination, and we’re cheering them on each step of the way. At the same time, our Year 9 Outdoor Education students are exploring Wilsons Prom, learning valuable lessons in resilience and teamwork.

International Student program 

I’m also thrilled to share that after my recent International Student recruitment trip to China, we’re preparing to welcome new international students to Mentone Girls' Secondary College. Our community has a well-earned reputation for inclusivity, and we are excited to support these students as they join us on their educational journeys.

We are also pleased to announce that many of our student leadership positions for 2025 have been appointed.
