Dear Christway College Community

As we come to the end of the first term of 2024, it is good to reflect on the achievements and experiences that have characterised our journey so far. It has been a fulfilling period of spiritual growth, community engagement, and academic progress.

Early in the term we held the annual Swimming Carnival, where our students showcased their talent, sportsmanship, and team spirit. The enthusiasm displayed during this event set a positive tone for the term ahead.

More recently, our Primary Cross Country event brought together students, parents, and staff in a shared celebration of physical activity and achievement. Witnessing our students push themselves to reach their personal bests and supporting one another along the way was wonderful to witness.

A big highlight for me was undoubtedly the immensely successful PFA Community Dinner. It was heart-warming to see our school community come together, including so many new families, sharing laughter, stories, and delicious food. This event exemplified the strong sense of belonging and connection that defines Christway College.

Amidst these exciting events, I am pleased to report that our classrooms have been buzzing with engaged and productive learning. Our dedicated teachers and staff have worked tirelessly to create nurturing and stimulating environments where our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As we reflect on the achievements of the first term, I am reminded of the importance of partnership between our College staff and parents. Your unwavering support, encouragement, and collaboration are invaluable in guiding our students on their pathway to success. Together, we can nurture and empower our young learners to reach their fullest potential.

I am looking forward to continuing to explore our theme for the year: "Guided by HIS Light," and as a Christian school, we are committed to walking alongside our students as they grow in faith, character, and knowledge. This theme serves as a reminder of our collective journey to follow Jesus more closely each day, guided by His light and love.

As we move into the Easter holidays, let us take time to reflect on the profound significance of this season. Easter reminds us of the hope and renewal that come through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a time for spiritual reflection, gratitude, and renewal of faith.

I encourage each of you to take advantage of the upcoming Easter break to rest, recharge, and spend quality time with God and with loved ones. Let us use this time to rejuvenate our minds, bodies, and spirits so that we may return to school next term refreshed and ready to continue our journey of learning and growth.
