"Knowing is not enough. It is necessary to love what is known and live what is preached." - St Anthony of Padua

Social Justice Initiative

Our Social Justice leaders Lily and Lily in Year Six have been doing a brilliant job, and they have helped us plan a lovely little project to finish our term. Please find the poster for our Book Drive below!

As the poster explains, this week and next we will be collecting donations of pre-loved books still in good condition. These books can be dropped off in our School Office, you will see the special space!

We are asking for any books that you are able to donate, whether they be student appropriate or even novels adults might enjoy!

After collecting through the next two weeks we will host some Book Stalls in Week 10, where all the donated books can be purchased for a small price to find their new home! We will also have some bookmarks and other goodies to purchase! More details about the stall will be released closer to the time.

Our captains have selected a charity they are passionate about, Pets of the Homeless Australia.Their website can be found here!

Pets Of The Homeless is a charity that works to help keep vulnerable people and their pets together by alleviating the burden of providing essential pet care during times of hardship.

Please see a video below which further explains the amazing work they do.

We thank our community for your support with this initiative and hope we can collect as many books as possible!

St Anthony of Padua

Our Feast Day celebrations are in full swing, as we celebrate the life of our wonderful naming Saint, St Anthony of Padua. Our Parish Celebration Mass will be on Sunday the 14th of June at 11.00AM. We will also host a whole school Mass to Celebrate St Anthony on Friday the 19th of June at 9.15AM.

All of our classes have been learning about the life of St Anthony, and unpacking once again his special life.

We hope to see as many people as possible attending Mass for our celebrations, and when you do you will see the walls of our church decorated with beautiful student work! We love this chance to celebrate as a school and a community!
