Swimming Sports Carnival

Well Done Lionheart!

On Monday, February 17th 2025, over 700 students travelled to Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool to participate in the Annual TLSC Swimming Carnival.  Melbourne put on a great day for us with the temperature set in the high 20’s. 

Throughout the day, students competed in races, played some water volleyball, splashed in the 'kiddy' pool or just sat back, relaxed and enjoyed the sun. The races ran well, with many Year 7 students stepping up to show what they could do.  We now have many students moving on the next round to compete against the other schools in our area.

At the end of the day Lionheart was our overall house winner with Apollo, Parmelia and Chichester coming in behind.

The Year 12's had fun dressing up for the event and are already planning their outfits for the Athletics Carnival in Term 2.

Well done to all staff and students who participated on the day and made the Swimming Carnival such a huge success.
