Progress Reports and Parent Teacher Interviews
Parent-teacher Interviews will be held on Monday, March 31st from 1:30pm - 4:00pm and from 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Please note that no regular classes will be held on Monday March 31st 2025. Students are required to attend the interviews with their family.
Please note that this year the first round of students' progress reports are available on Compass the end of the day on Friday March 21st 2025. This will indicate specifically where teachers have requested an interview, however I remind all parents that interviews with any of your child’s teachers are possible and encouraged. This year parents will also be able to book an interview time through the Compass Management system and information on this will come out shortly.
Child Safety and Wellbeing
Taylors Lakes Secondary College is committed to providing an environment where students are safe and feel safe.
Our child safety framework [TLSC website: School Policies] explains how we support and maintain child safety and wellbeing at Taylors Lakes Secondary College. It includes our:
- Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy
- Child Safety Reporting and Responding Obligations Procedures, and
- Child Safety Code of Conduct, which outlines acceptable and unacceptable behaviours for all staff and volunteers at our school.
We are currently reviewing our child safety policies and practices to ensure they are up-to-date and effective. These include the above mentioned polices along with the following policies:
Complaints Policy
Visitors Policy
Volunteers Policy
Our students and families are important partners in this process and in providing a child safe environment. We welcome your feedback on the above policies or ideas on ways we can improve our approach to child safety and wellbeing.
If you have any suggestions or comments please email the school at taylors.lakes.sc@education.vic.gov.au or contact Louisa Norwood (Assistant Principal) on 9390-3130.
