Farewell Year 12s 

Last week, we said goodbye to our Class of 2026. 

It was an emotionally charged farewell, but we hope it was a special week for them to look back on fondly. Each day had its own theme, allowing students to flex their creativity and dress up in cool and interesting costumes.

Monday was our 'Anything but a Bag' or 'Decades' themes, where students could bring along any sort of carry item they could come up with that wasn't a traditional bag; or, they could come dressed in an outfit from a certain decade. Some students also came in their old primary school uniforms as a tribute to how far they've come. This was coupled with our annual Handover Assembly, where each graduating student received a certificate and keyring to celebrate their achievements and to have a memento of their final year at school.

Tuesday, the theme was 'Teachers / Your Past or Future Self', where students either dressed up as who they wanted to be in the future, or went as one of their teachers. Wednesday was 'Fictional Characters', and then on Thursday, their final day, they came in their uniforms to be signed by their peers and teachers. They thanked their teachers with cards and flowers, and then participated in the 'Guard of Honour', where our Year 12s walked through the school for the last time while being cheered on by the rest of the school.
