"Anglesea Shorts" is BACK 28 February 2027

The Anglesea Movie Club is delighted to once again sponsor the Anglesea Shorts Film Festival, returning on 28 February 2027.
After 2 very successful years, we have decided to open up the competition by introducing a third category for anyone over 18.The 3 categories and the prize money on offer are:
- Juniors 8-13 $ 500
- Seniors 14-18 $1000
- Open 19+ $1500
The 6 finalists in each category will receive $100 each.
As part of the lead-up to the festival, we'll also be running two Film Making Courses at the Anglesea Community House.
This year we're offering two separate courses:
- Junior Course (ages 8–13)
- Senior/Open Course (ages 14 and over – teens and adults welcome!)
Whether you're interested in filmmaking yourself, have children or grandchildren who love being creative, or simply want to learn how to make memorable family videos, these courses are a fantastic opportunity. No previous experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and imagination.
It really is a lot of fun!

Help your learner get on the road with a free driving lesson!
The myLearners Free Driving Lesson program offers a FREE 60-minute Lesson with a professional driving instructor for learners aged 16–21 who have completed 10–50 hours of driving practice.
The lesson is taken alongside their supervising driver, helping both the learner and supervisor build safer, more confident driving habits together.
This program supports families by making the learning experience more positive and less stressful. It aims to reduce crash risks for young drivers, strengthen supervising skills, and encourage safer driving behaviours early on all at no cost to participants.

Saver Plus
Saver Plus is a free financial education and savings program funded by Department of Social Services, that supports families during these important School transitions.
Families who join the program receive:
- Up to $500 in matched savings to help cover educational costs such as Laptops, uniforms, books, school camps, technology, and more.
- Practical money management skills through fun and engaging online workshops.
- Ongoing support from Saver Plus saving coach throughout their savings journey.
