Week 1 - Summer Sport Wrap-Up
Our summer sport season is officially underway, with plenty of action across the College over the opening weekend of fixtures.
It was a competitive start to the season, with our Basketball teams recording 11 wins and 11 losses, while Baseball finished the weekend with one win and one loss. The Golf Team had a close loss against Waverley College.
Unfortunately, wet weather prevented our First and Second XI Cricket teams from taking the field, with both fixtures washed out and rescheduled for Saturday, 28 November. Our Thunder Cricket teams were able to get their matches underway, recording three wins and three losses.
This weekend also marks the commencement of our Touch Football season, with all four teams travelling to the Central Coast to take on Central Coast Grammar School. We wish all players and coaches the very best for their opening fixtures and look forward to seeing how they progress throughout the season.
Best of luck to all teams this weekend!
College Swimming Carnival – Save the Date!
A reminder to all students and families that the Years 7-12 House and Age Swimming Carnival will take place on Thursday, 19 November.
Please note that, unlike previous years, the Carnival will be held in Term 4 this year rather than Term 1 next year.
We encourage all students and parents to keep an eye out for further information in the coming weeks, including details regarding the day's organisation and participation.
