Year 7 Cricket

Our year 7’s recently participated in a cricket tournament against other schools in the region.  Despite small numbers, the team did very well.  

In the first game, we went down to Elevation in a tight match, however we rallied together and overcame Edgars Creek in the second match. 

Congratulations to Harper Pappin, Tairi Page and Tyler Christopher who all performed exceptionally well in the field. Mustafa Danish, Jainam Jain, Corey Hermansson and Krish Shah all took wickets thanks to some great bowling.  

In the Elevation match, we lost early wickets, but the batters stood steady and managed to remain standing until the last ball. Jack Ferguson, Cooper Ayton, Lucas Hutcheon, Ayan Iqbal also provided great support.  Thanks go to our coach Josh Hutcheon who organized us throughout the day and gave great advise.
