Parents and Friends

This week, we held our first 2026 Parents’ and Friends’ General Meeting. Recognising the demands of busy family life, the meeting was offered both in person and virtually. With a wonderful turnout of nearly 100 attendees across the Robson Auditorium and online, we sincerely thank everyone for their support and for taking the time to be part of the Parents’ and Friends’ community.

During the meeting, we gained valuable insight into Dr Lavorato’s recent Spiritual Tour, which took her from Greece to Turkey. As the inspirational leader of our school, she shared how this experience encouraged her to slow down, reflect, walk, pray, and journal. Dr Lavorato spoke about how she is bringing this renewed perspective back to the College, with a strong focus on deepening our Catholic identity and strengthening the connection between SPC and faith by linking school messages with Scripture.

It was truly inspiring to hear Dr Lavorato speak so passionately about the College and her commitment to fostering a culture that instils integrity, compassion, and faith in our sons.

Building on the success of the 2025 P&F Committee under Elena Ierado’s leadership, we are proud to be in a position to make a significant financial contribution to these important projects.
