Disco – Tomorrow Night!

One more sleep until the disco! We are excited to be holding our first combined whole school disco and for it to be hosted by the one and only DJ Will!

The disco will start at 6:30pm and finish at 8pm. Parents are welcome to drop their children and return later to pick them up or you can stay for the duration. Either way all children attending will need to be signed in and out. This year sign in/outs will be done in alphabetical order (instead of by class) to make it easier for us all.

If you have not already returned your form, and wish to attend, you can still make payment at the office or pay at the door when you arrive. Cost is $5 per child and will include a packet of chips and a chupa chup (which will be handed out at the end of the night).

As an added extra, each child will receive a free glow stick upon entry!!

We will be also selling a small amount of glow items tomorrow night. Prices will range from $1 - $5 and both cash and eftpos will be available.

We would also love some parent helpers on the night to aid in the sign in/out process, assist with selling items and general crowd control. All volunteers must have a current WWCC linked to the school. If you are able to help, please let Jess, Alicia or the office know.

Italian Day – Monday 30 June

A reminder to the families who have not yet returned their pizza order for Monday to please do so by no later than tomorrow (Friday 27 June). The children can have up to 2 slices of pizza (with a choice of margherita and/or ham and cheese) and lemon gelati. This is a FREE event on behalf of the Parent’s Association so please ensure your forms are returned so we can cater appropriately.

A very special thank you to Melissa of Tarantino’s Pizza (Simonetta 5/6C and Isabella 3/4G) for organising and providing the pizzas for us and to Maurizio of Naturalis Gelato (Leonardo, Prep) for providing us with the lemon gelati. 

On the morning of, we will also have the coffee cart running. We invite all parents to join us for a coffee in the courtyard and to see the kids in their wonderful Italian Day costumes.

Grandparent’s & Special Friend’s Day

SAVE THE DATE – MONDAY 28 JULY (Week 2, Term 3)

We will be hosting our annual Grandparent’s & Special Friend’s Day week two of next term.

A flyer will go out week one of next term with more information, but this year we will be taking RSVP’s through Operoo.

We will also be putting a call out for baked goods to be donated for the morning tea.

Father's Day Stall

Preparations are well under way for our annual Father's Day stall.

If you have any donations big or small, we would love to hear from you. E.g Vouchers for local businesses, BBQ related gifts, coffee beans, coffee related gifts, sports merchandise.

In addition, there will be a big round tub for those who wish to donate towards the raffle hampers.
