Parent-Teacher Interviews

The parent-teacher interviews for Year 11 and 12 students are instrumental in fostering academic success and overall well-being. These meetings offer a valuable opportunity for parents and educators to:

Discuss Academic Progress: Evaluate student achievements, strengths, and areas requiring improvement in core subjects.

Set Goals: Collaboratively establish realistic objectives and strategies to enhance learning outcomes during these pivotal years.

Navigate Challenges: Address any concerns related to workload, stress, or subject difficulties before they adversely affect student well-being and performance.

Share Information: Keep parents informed about upcoming assessments, deadlines, and pathways for post-school options.

Bookings will be available through the Sentral Parent Portal starting 27 April and will close on 11 May. We encourage you to make your reservations early to secure your preferred time slot.

Vaccination Dates

All students have received a paper consent and information pack. Please ensure that the consent form is completed as soon as possible.

Canberra Excursion

We are pleased to announce the dates and key highlights of the Canberra Excursion, which is open to Year 11 and 12 students in 2026.

The total cost for this seven-night all-inclusive experience is $850, reflecting a 50% subsidy. To accommodate various budgets, payments can be made in weekly, fortnightly, or monthly installments. A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required by 24 April to secure your place.

This remarkable opportunity has been made possible through the generous monetary gift provided to THS by the late Mrs Patricia Williams and Rotary Tenterfield.

Let's Hang It

All students are invited to participate in UNESAP Let’s Hang It! Art Competition. Submissions are accepted online from 27 April to 15 May 2026 and exhibited at NERAM from 24th July to 9th August. 

Interested students should contact Mr Caisley for further information.

Year 7 Excursion

Our annual excursion to Coffs Harbour will be held from 6 to 8 May. 

Students have been provided with a what to pack checklist and itinerary at their camp meeting on 27 March. If your child was absent at this meeting, please speak to Mrs Koch.

Final payment for the excursion is due no later than Friday 1 May.
