Moore House Report
We have arrived at the mid-point of Term 3 and what an exciting term it has been! At the start of the term we said goodbye to our Year 7s as they commenced their very exciting journey at our new Kildare Campus. This allowed Moore House to return to our normal meeting space of the Chapel, which has helped to reconnect our sense of belonging to our Moore community, as something that has been important to staff and students for many years.
Earlier in the term we were able to come together with our Moore students from Kildare campus and celebrate a Moore Mass with Father Novie at St Mary’s Church. This gave us a great opportunity to reconnect with the Year 7s and catch up to see how they were going.
Last week we gathered as a whole school to celebrate the achievements of our academic excellence and it was good to see numerous Moore House students presented with awards for all their hard work and dedication to their studies.
Next week brings on the House athletics and it is fair to say that once again it should be a comfortable win for Moore, with the other Houses merely making up the numbers!
The warmer months are just around the corner so it would be a good idea to dust off the summer uniform and ensure it is ready to go for Term 4.
We from Moore House wish you all a great remainder of Term 3 as we continue striving to be the best version of ourselves we can be!
