Swimming Carnival

Hi everyone,

Last Friday, we enjoyed another successful and exciting swimming carnival for our Class 2 to Class 6 students. Well done to all who participated—whether competing in events or cheering on their teams. It was wonderful to see the students' hard work from previous swimming lessons come to fruition. Everyone gave their best effort, making it a fantastic day. A huge thank you to all the staff who helped plan and run the event so smoothly, as well as our Class 6 house captains:

  • Green Arlure Geckos – Sula & Kaden
  • Red Ankerte Bearded Dragons – Anouk & Madi
  • Blue Atyenpe Parenties – Adele & Charlotte R
  • Yellow Arlantye Bicycle Lizards – Charlotte T

Each team secured at least one victory across the eight competition categories: Team Spirit, Personal Effort, Teamwork, Fair Play, Honesty, 50m Races, 25m Races, and Small Pool Games. Congratulations to Yellow Arlantye, who took home the overall win, followed closely by Red Ankerte, with Green Arlure and Blue Atyenpe tying for third place. Well done to all involved, and thank you for making it a fun, safe, and memorable event!

Additionally, I’d like to acknowledge some outstanding student achievements:

  • Congratulations to Class 6 students Sula, Anouk, Memphis, and Charlotte T for earning a spot on the Alice Springs Under-12 Girls Regional Soccer Team! Best of luck with training in the coming weeks as you prepare for the NT regional competition in Term 2 and the selection for the NT Under-12 Girls Soccer Team.
  • A huge well done to Pippa from Class 5, who competed in the NT Swimming Championships in Darwin and brought home an incredible two gold, one silver, and two bronze medals!

Fantastic efforts from all our students—keep up the great work!

Best regards,
