HARRY BROWN
The gnomes have met all manner of witches, trolls, wild creatures and the odd King and Queen. Each story is revisited the following day with a recall of anything at all followed by a picture which relates strongly to an image from the previous days story and contains within it a letter from the alphabet. On the third day the letter is drawn on its own, in full colour. In this way the will is strengthend as emotions and feeling are attached to the memory, bringing life to the learning and to the character of the letter. In this way a living picture is brought forth from the realm of wonder and magic.
This is called a three-day rhythm, so each day a new story, a new picture from yesterday’s story and the letter in its full glory from yesterday’s picture.
Taking our time, having lots of fun. Happy memories of childhood will allow the children to draw on great strength in the future. Here you can see the start of our German program with Dan and the joyful enthusiasm for life expressing itself.
More physical challenges were met by others as they engaged in our water day last Friday. Such an incredible amount of energy was on display with so much non- stop action that many had no time or interest in eating lunch.
