Brighton Secondary College at Midsumma Pride March

On Sunday the 2nd of February, Brighton Secondary College proudly participated in the Midsumma Pride March, joining thousands of people in a vibrant celebration of diversity and inclusion. 

Staff walked together under the summer sun, surrounded by a sea of colour, music, and energy as we made our way down Fitzroy Street towards Catani Gardens.

The atmosphere was electric, filled with laughter, cheers, and a shared sense of pride. 

Our group connected with staff from other schools, sharing experiences and reinforcing the importance of creating safe and inclusive spaces for everyone. The day was a powerful reminder of the strength found in community and the joy of standing together in support of LGBTQIA+ rights.

Brighton Secondary College is committed to fostering a culture of acceptance, respect, and celebration, and our participation in the Midsumma Pride March is just one way we continue to show our support. Thank you to everyone who joined us—your enthusiasm and spirit made the day unforgettable!
