CRICKET SUCCESS

Over the summer, three students from BSC were fortunate to be selected to represent the South East Cricket Association (SECA) in Representative Cricket. Jay Patel (Year 9), Nathan Shaw, and Oliver Powell (both Year 8) were part of the U14 SECA Nolan Cup team, competing in a series of matches against teams from across Melbourne. 

The boys played exceptionally well, making it all the way to the semi-finals, which was a fantastic achievement! 

Although they didn’t progress to the Grand Final, the two-week cricket carnival was filled with healthy competition, camaraderie, and sportsmanship. It was a wonderful experience for these three aspiring cricketers from Brighton Secondary College. Well done, Jay, Nathan, and Oliver!
