Interschool Sports - by Mackenzie

We have been playing interschool sports for the last few weeks, netball and soccer. We went to Frankston East Primary School, and also versed Frankston Primary School. My favourite thing about interschool sports is when we come together as a team to work out strategies together and have fun. Next week we have our Lightning Premiership, and we can't wait to go and play and have fun for the whole day.

The Little Mermaid - by Marsarlina

Last week we got to go and watch The Little Mermaid at John Paul College. A mix of different grades were performing in a musical. In the story, Ariel was one of the main characters, and she saved a human's life, which made her dad very cross with her. She made a deal with the Sea Witch that if she gave up her voice she could have a pair of legs. At the end of the story Ariel ended up getting her voice back and marrying the prince. My favourite thing about the show was the music and the lights. It was a very beautiful day!

Grade 5 Visit to JPC - by Kaley

This week the Grade 5s went to John Paul College to do a Transition Day, to see what it's like to be a secondary school student. We did a lot of fun activities, including science and cooking. In the science lab we made Elephant Toothpaste, and experimented with colour changing fire. We did our cooking activity in the new kitchen building. We made muffin pizzas, they were yum, but needed a bit of salt. If I could change one thing, I would make the excursion last for the whole day, instead of just the morning.
