Year 3 Camp
This week, our Year 3 students set off on their very first school camp. The girls had a wonderful time at Woodhouse Adventure Park. Over the two days, they enjoyed a wonderful range of experiences, including a visit to Monarto Safari Park, tackling Challenge Hill and experiencing the excitement of the tube slide.
A very special thank you must go to our dedicated staff who accompanied the girls. Their care, encouragement and commitment ensured that every student felt supported and had the opportunity to make the most of this memorable experience.

Year 5 Leadership Workshop
It was a pleasure to join our Year 5 students last week for an online Leadership Workshop alongside students from Loreto schools across Australia. We were also delighted to have Mrs Lynn Long, Chair of the Loreto Schools Australia Committee, contribute to this valuable leadership experience.
Throughout the workshop, the girls engaged in thoughtful discussions inspired by Mary Ward’s example of leadership. They explored what it means to lead within a Loreto school and reflected on the qualities that define an authentic Loreto leader. This valuable experience forms an important part of their preparation for the leadership roles they will take on as Year 6 students next year.

Reception Transition
Last Friday was a special morning as we welcomed our new Reception students into the Loreto community. The excitement and anticipation were evident as our Mid-Year Reception students hosted a beautiful welcome Liturgy. Ms McCullah added to the joy of the occasion by presenting each new student with a Loreto Teddy Bear. We look forward to watching these young students grow and flourish as part of the Loreto Junior School community next year.

Assistant Principal: Head of Junior School
Our Mid-Year Reception girls have been thoroughly enjoying their buddy sessions with the Year 4 students. These special lessons have provided wonderful opportunities to build friendships and strengthen connections across year levels. Last week, the girls got creative, drawing portraits of one another, carefully observing and capturing their buddies’ unique features.
There were plenty of smiles, laughter and lovely conversations along the way!
