Year 12 Graduation Dinner – The Social Event of the Season!
Two weeks ago, it was wonderful to see our Year 11 families come together once again to create a memorable celebration for the Class of 2026 at the Year 12 Graduation Dinner.
An enormous amount of thought, creativity and effort went into bringing this year's theme to life, with our Year 11 Parent Graduation Committee transforming the Brigid Jones Gymnasium into a beautiful Bridgerton-inspired garden party – it truly was the Social Event of the Season!
The transformation was made even more special with an incredibly realistic floral bouquet cake, created by Year 10 parent Bec McNamara from Bloom N Bakes, alongside the gorgeous floral arrangements by Kimberley Kennedy.
We are incredibly grateful to the Graduation Committee, led by Kimberley Kennedy, Trish Chenoweth, Andrea Ingham, Bridget White, Julie Biggs and Connie Caruso, along with the many parent volunteers who generously gave their time, creativity and energy to bring the evening to life. It was a wonderful celebration and a beautiful reflection of the strength of our Loreto community.
Fathers and Friends Dinner
On Friday 30 October, our Loreto fathers and friends came together for a wonderful celebration of community. It was lovely to see familiar faces catching up, as well as dads who came along on their own and made the most of the opportunity to meet new people. The evening was a wonderful reflection of the genuine friendships, inclusivity that make our community so special.
The generosity throughout the evening was truly outstanding, with more than $15,000 raised through the raffle and live auction towards the upgrade of the Junior School Hall.
A huge thank you to all the donors who generously contributed to raffle prizes and auction items, including Adam Lampit, Leigh Ratzmer, Chris Newton-Smith, Brett Woods, Alex Katsaros, Dan Orken, Jim and Lia Kefalianos, Michael van der Sommen, Marc Allgrove, Simon Dennis, Curtis Mohr, Tom Rayner and Kylie McCullah, as well as everyone who participated in the bidding and helped make the fundraising such a success.
A special shout-out to our Loreto parents who played key roles in the evening: Adam Lampit, for his tireless efforts and commitment in supporting the fundraising initiatives, Tom Rayner, for keeping the auction on track, Craig Fabbian for his Q&A session with guest speaker Marie Shaw AM KC, and Sam Bentley for guideing the evening as our MC. Events like these are only possible through the generosity, enthusiasm and support of our wonderful community, and we are so grateful to everyone who played a part in making the evening such a success.
