In Week Four, the Four Houses Meet!
This week, our newly appointed House Captains each prepared and led their inaugural House Assembly, supported by their House Sport Captain, Sport Vice Captain, PAF Captain and PAF leaders.
House Assemblies aim to celebrate the collective spirit shared between the Junior and Senior Schools, affirming each girl as a valued member of her House community. Without question, the highlight for each House was the introduction of its House prayer and song. The prayer provides a foundation for the identity and formation of each House, while the song, I suspect, will become a signature anthem, enthusiastically sung at House Assemblies for years to come.
I look forward to seeing how our House Captains and leadership teams deepen their traditions and strengthen the bonds within Ward, Barry, Mulhall and McGrath. And while, as a proud Mulhall member, I am of course completely without bias, I couldn't help noticing that Mulhall's Assembly was particularly “magic in green”.
Congratulations to our 2026/2027 House Captains, Sport and Vice Captains, PAF Captains and leaders. This legacy is yours to build, and if Week 4 is anything to go by, our Loreto community will be richer as a result.
