Year 9 Naarm

Congratulations to the Year 9 students who participated in the Naarm Program on Friday, 19 June!

Students took part in a range of engaging activities across both the Glenroy Community Hub and the Clocktower Centre, travelling independently between venues and demonstrating impressive responsibility, maturity and independence throughout the day.

The day’s program featured a diverse range of workshops and experiences designed to promote personal growth, wellbeing and community connection. Students participated in sessions delivered by the Pat Cronin Foundation, Blue Edge, Youth and Active Merribek, Guided meditation and Silent Disco. New to the program this year was a choir workshop led by Stella and Meshal from Coco Choir, which proved to be a highlight for many students.

The day was a fantastic success, with students embracing every opportunity and demonstrating our PRIDE values through their positive participation and respectful conduct.

A special thank you to our Year 10 Naarm Leaders, whose leadership and support throughout the day were invaluable, and to our terrific school staff who helped make the program possible. Your enthusiasm and commitment ensured a memorable and rewarding experience for all involved.
