Flying High in Year Five

Book Week in Year Five was all about creations based on beautiful books that were on the CBCA short list. 

Once I was a Giant,  Derek, Being Indie and The Emperor's Egg. Check out some of our cool artwork. 

On Friday we also had a special guest reader (Mrs Ward) who tried to convince us to eat our broccoli by reading Dear Broccoli to us.

Maths this fortnight was all about MEASUREMENT.  We were investigating how close our estimation skills were to the actual measurement by measuring in grams and kilogram, centimetre and metres and millilitres and litres.
