Book Week 2025

As part of Book Week, our school was buzzing with excitement as we celebrated this special event in 2025 with the theme “Book an Adventure!” From magical lands to daring journeys, students brought their favourite stories to life in the most imaginative ways.

One of the highlights of the week was our Costume Parade, where students showcased their incredible outfits inspired by beloved books. Congratulations to our most creative costume winners:

Each of our winners received a certificate and chose a book prize, with special thanks to Ms Murtagh for assisting with this part of the celebration.

We would also like to thank everyone who contributed a gold coin donation to support Story Dogs. Your generosity helped us raise an impressive $275.40!

Whether you discovered a new favourite author or went on a literary adventure, we hope Book Week reminded everyone of the joy and magic of reading.

Grade 3-6 Author Talk

Students recently had the exciting opportunity to attend a live online author talk with renowned children's author Andy Griffiths. During the session, he introduced his new book You, Me and the Peanut Butter Beast and shared fascinating insights into how he developed the beloved Storey Treehouse series. The talk inspired plenty of creativity, and by the end, students were encouraged to draw their own characters for an imaginative adventure story of their own.
