District Athletics

On Thursday the 5th of September POPS competed in District Athletics with 8 other schools. Congratulations to POPS on coming 4th overall! We had some great individual results.

Here are some student accounts of the day:

District athletics was really fun because everyone had a smile on their face and no matter what place they came everybody congratulated them. We are really grateful to the helpers and teachers that came to encourage us and spend their day helping out and bringing the equipment. Our school did great coming in 4th overall against 8 different schools and even some people are making it to division in Term 4. Special thank you to Miss Young, Mrs Southgate, Mrs Ingle, Mrs Carbone, Mrs Rosenthal and the parent helpers for encouraging us and making district athletics great.

Beau - Grade 5

I really enjoyed district athletics, it was definitely a highlight of my year. At district, we had lots of fun and POPS came 4th in the Field events, 4th in Track events and 4th overall! Our school did incredibly well. Some of the people who competed are moving onto the next level (division) which is amazing for them. A special thanks to our parent helpers: Mrs Murray, Mrs Palframan and Mrs Samargis for helping us out and supporting POPS!
